Hi there! I'm Gillian, and I'm so happy you've found Room For You.

Since I was a kid I've loved organizing - in my spare time I'd ensure all my books, toys, and pencil crayons had a "home." My mother always had an eye for beautiful things, while also tucking things away for a rainy day or "just in case," while my father would be happy with just the clothes on his back and a pillow under his head! I have learned to walk the line in the middle, how to find balance and joy in personal belongings, whilst not allowing it to take over one's life!  

I learned I had a talent for this and want to share it with the world.

When it comes to decluttering, it's more than just getting rid of stuff. Personal belongings can hold memories, but allowing ourselves to let go of excess items can lead us to a life more richly lived. I want to help you discover that a simpler material life frees not just physical burdens, but mental ones too.

It is so satisfying to be looking for something and know exactly where it is! Life is much easier to enjoy when you don't need to struggle in your space,

My professional decluttering journey started while living on Bowen Island; I put an ad into the community offering my services, and got an overwhelming response of people in need!

There I gained experience decluttering crawl spaces, tool sheds, garages, bedrooms, pantries, freezers, decks, closets, you name it!

I am now based in East Vancouver, and I'm excited to help serve the community here and Greater Vancouver. No matter where your mess is, I'm up for the task. I look forward to assisting you and your home feel its best and - turn your mess into YES! ​​
