Why Room For You?

Hi there! I'm Gillian, and I'm so happy you've found Room For You.

Since I was a kid I've loved organizing - in my spare time I'd ensure all my books, toys, and pencil crayons had a "home." My mother always had an eye for beautiful things, while also tucking things away for potential art projects, gifts, or "just in case." My father on the other hand would be happy with just the clothes on his back and a pillow under his head!

I have learned to walk the middle line, how to find joy and appreciation for personal belongings, while not allowing it to take over one's life! I learned I had a talent for this and want to share it with my community.

My professional decluttering journey started while living on Bowen Island; I put an ad into the community offering my services, and got an overwhelming response of people in need!

There I gained experience decluttering crawl spaces, tool sheds, garages, bedrooms, pantries, freezers, decks, closets, you name it!

I also have experience working for a professional decluttering company based in Vancouver. 

 

When it comes to decluttering, it's more than just getting rid of "stuff". Personal belongings can hold memories, aspirations, and longing. But learning how to let go of excess items can allow us to step more presently into the lives we truly want to live. I want to help you create that room in your life to achieve what you truly desire.  ​​
